Andre Funnell

Andre Funnell has extensive work experience in various managerial roles within the food industry. Andre has worked as a Lead Auditor and SGASA Auditor at NSF International since 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Technical Packhouse Manager at ZZFresh from 2019 to 2021. Andre also held positions such as Packhouse Manager at Radville Ltd from 2017 to 2018, Production Manager - Macadamia at JAB Dried Fruit Products from 2017 to 2017, and Packhouse Manager at Belo Monte from 2013 to 2016. Furthermore, they worked as a Perishable Product Service Manager at Global Inspections Group in 2013 and as a Surveyor at FQCS from 2011 to 2013. Andre also gained experience as a General Manager at Suncape in 2011 and as a Business Manager at Fintrac in 2008.

Andre Funnell studied at Grey College - Bloemfontein from 1977 to 1981, completing their high school education. Andre then attended Technicon of Pretoria from 1998 to 2000, earning a ND: Agriculture degree with a focus on Botany/Plant Biology. In 2001, they attended Damelin for a short period to obtain a Diploma in Project Management.
