Jamie Thomas is an experienced professional in procurement and public policy, currently serving as a Commercial Manager and Strategic Procurement Officer at NS&I since April 2018. Additionally, Jamie holds the position of Principal Associate - Procurement Specialist at CIPFA from January 2018. Recently, Jamie contributed to research on devolved public procurement law in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland post-Brexit as a Research Assistant at the University of Nottingham from August to December 2023. Prior to these roles, Jamie amassed a decade of experience at Durham County Council, where positions included Strategic Category Manager and Corporate Procurement Officer, as well as earlier roles at New College Durham, the House of Commons, and the Scottish Parliament. Jamie holds an LLM in Public Procurement Law & Policy from the University of Nottingham and a MA in International Relations from the University of St Andrews.
