Dan Bean

Dan Bean is a Senior Media Officer at NSPCC since June 2019, overseeing a team of three media professionals across the North and the Midlands to manage media coverage and promote local aspects of national stories. Previously, Dan served as a Media Officer, coordinating local media outputs and temporarily taking on senior responsibilities in 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Crime Reporter at The Press York, where Dan covered live incidents and produced local stories for the Selby edition, along with early experience as an Assistant Media Coordinator at ITV. Dan holds a BA (Hons) in Film and Literature from Sheffield Hallam University.
