Matt Forde

National Head of Service, Scotland

Matt Forde is the Partnerships and Development Director at NSPCC, a position they have held since December 2020 after initially joining the organization in 2010 as the National Head for Scotland. They lead partnership services across the UK and Channel Islands, focusing on community-based prevention projects and innovative specialist programs aimed at preventing child abuse and neglect. Previously, Matt worked at Glasgow City Council, where they held various roles in children's services, including leading youth justice programs. With a background as a registered social worker, Matt has a strong involvement in policy, practice development, and research, including a Winston Churchill fellowship that focused on preventing child abuse and advocating for children's rights.
