Sam Preston

Sam Preston currently serves as the Acting Senior Digital Content Editor at NSPCC since April 2023, previously holding the position of Digital Content Editor. Between August 2018 and April 2023, Sam held various roles as a Senior Football Writer for multiple publications under GRV Media, including The Boot Room and United in Focus. Additional writing experience includes contributions to matchday programmes for Stockport County FC, Mansfield Town Football Club, and Colchester United Football Club. Sam has also worked as a Digital Content Writer for Football Fan Cast and Snack Media, as well as producing Manchester United content for SB Nation. Sam holds an NCTJ News and Sport Reporting Diploma from Press Association Training and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Law with French Law from the University of Birmingham.
