Eric Andres

Eric Andres, P.Eng., PMP, serves as the Engineering Manager at Newmarket Tay Power Distribution Ltd. since November 2020, bringing a wealth of experience from previous roles including Asset Manager at Oshawa Power. At Newmarket Tay Power, Eric has demonstrated expertise in engineering management, leading the development of strategic plans, overseeing capital and maintenance programs, and ensuring system reliability through comprehensive assessments. Notable accomplishments include spearheading the 2021-2025 Distribution System Plan and achieving compliance with ESA regulations for six consecutive years. Eric's prior experience encompasses supervising design technicians, conducting detailed engineering analyses, and managing generation connection requests. Eric holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Ontario Tech University and previous education from the University of the Philippines.
