Yemisi Babade

Yemisi Babade has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Yemisi has held various roles in different companies, starting with their current position as the Human Resources Director at ntel since November 2017. Prior to that, they worked as the VP Human Resources (Consultant) at CMB Nigeria from September 2014 to November 2016.

Before joining CMB Nigeria, Yemisi served as a Senior Recruiter at Shell from April 2006 to July 2012. Yemisi then moved on to work as a Senior Manager - HR Operations at MTN from April 2004 to March 2006, where they managed HR Operations and a staff population of 2,000 across four regions. Additionally, they oversaw the HR Operations department, which included Industrial & Employee Relations, HR Transactions/Employee Services, Benefits Management, and HR Contact Centre.

Yemisi's earlier experience includes working as a Resourcing Manager at Network Rail from January 2003 to April 2004, where they developed resourcing processes, implemented competency frameworks, and managed a resource budget. Yemisi commenced their career as a Human Resources Manager at GE from January 2001 to January 2003.

Yemisi Babade has a diverse education history spanning various fields and institutions. In 2007, they enrolled at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where they pursued an Advanced Programme in Human Resource Management. Prior to that, in 2006, Yemisi attended IMD, where they completed the HRiB Leadership Programme. In 1997, they enrolled at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), earning a Master's degree in Economics with a specialization in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management. Yemisi's undergraduate education took place at London Metropolitan University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources in 1995. Additionally, they participated in the Change Management Programme at Shell Learning in 2006.
