Karl Hedstrom

Karl Hedstrom is the IT Director at NTEN, where they have worked since 2011, focusing on leveraging technology to enhance nonprofit efforts. Their journey began as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Niger from 2004 to 2006, where they witnessed the transformative impact of technology in rural communities. After this experience, Karl joined NTEN as an AmeriCorps Volunteer in 2006, driven by a passion for the intersection of technology and social good. They hold a BA in Physics from Pomona College and currently reside in Seattle with their family and pets, enjoying activities such as volleyball, disc golf, and hiking in the Pacific Northwest.
