Matt Sowards has a wealth of experience in legislative representation, building and maintaining relationships with bipartisan Members of Congress and external stakeholders. Matt has worked for various organizations such as the National Treasury Employees Union, American Federation of Government Employees, and the United States Senate. Matt also has experience in research as a Graduate Research Assistant at Ohio University and has interned at Congressman Nick Rahall's office, Senator Jay Rockefeller's office, and the West Virginia Regional Jail Authority. Matt holds a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from Ohio University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Marshall University.
