Michael G. is a strategic communications leader with nearly two decades of experience in advancing social justice, equity, and human rights through storytelling and media engagement. They held roles such as Communications Specialist at 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East and Communications and Public Relations Manager at MassEquality, where they shaped narratives around LGBTQ+ rights. As the Associate Director of Strategic Communications for the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, Michael managed key communications strategies in human rights advocacy. Currently, as the Director of Communications and Public Relations for the National Treasury Employees Union, they lead a team dedicated to amplifying the voices of federal employees and reshaping public narratives around civil service. Michael holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Boston University and is pursuing a certificate in Communications for the Public Leader from Rutgers University.
