Mitchell Shenberg

Mitchell Shenberg is an experienced law enforcement professional with over 25 years in various roles within government agencies. Currently serving as an Officer at Customs and Border Protection since August 2008 and with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security since September 2002, Mitchell also holds a position as an NTEU Union Steward since May 2014. Prior experience includes supervising at the Transportation Security Administration from September 2002 to August 2008 and working as a Senior Juvenile Detention Officer and Academy Instructor for the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice from June 1997 to September 2002. Mitchell began a career in the legal field as a Bailiff in Miami-Dade County from August 1990 to June 1997. Educational background includes a high school diploma from Miami Killian Senior High School and ongoing studies at the University of Hartford since January 1989.
