Corey Hovanec, M.S., RPA, GIT, is a Principal Investigator with experience in archaeology and geomorphology. Corey has held positions as a Project Manager and Research Assistant, working on projects assessing the degradation of historic War of 1812 earthen fortifications and identifying sedimentation rates and contamination entry points. With a Master of Science in Geoarchaeology and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies, Corey has a strong background in both archaeology and architecture.

Newell, Tereska & MacKay (NTM) Engineering, Inc. is a civil engineering firm that specializes in water resources design, bridge design, and engineering instruction for public and private sector clients. NTM’s core services include hydrologic and hydraulic studies, waterway permitting, stormwater design and permitting, environmental services, technical course development and training, and transportation and bridge engineering. Established in 2006, NTM currently employs over 80 professionals and is located in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, with a branch offices in State College, Wayne, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The firm’s four principals—Donna Newell, John Newell, Rachel Tereska, and Jeffrey MacKay—are all licensed professional engineers with master’s degrees in Civil Engineering and a combined 80 years of civil design experience. NTM is also a registered Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and West Virginia and a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) with the federal government. In April 2022, Lotus Environmental Consulting, LLC was acquired by NTM. This additional expertise allows us to offer our clients a full range of environmental services, including environmental investigations and regulatory compliance services.
