Daniel Rettenwander is a Full Professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and serves as the Director of the Christian Doppler Laboratory for Solid-state Batteries. Previously, Daniel has held the position of Associate Professor and has been involved with editorial roles in the field, including serving on the Editorial Advisory Board for Ionics and as Managing Editor and guest editor for the Journal of Electroceramics. Daniel also directed the Christian-Doppler Laboratory for Solid-state Batteries at Graz University of Technology and has experience as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Academically, Daniel is pursuing a Dr. techn. (PhD) in Materials Science at Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg while also holding a Mag. rer. nat. (MSc) in Chemistry from the University of Graz.
