De Chen

De Chen is a professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where they focus on catalysis, chemical reaction engineering, and nanomaterials. Their main research interests include microkinetic modeling of surface reactions related to natural gas conversion and the synthesis and applications of nanomaterials. De has previously served as a visiting professor at UC Berkeley and a researcher at SINTEF, specializing in biomass conversion and catalysis. They hold a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology and a Ph.D. in Applied Catalysis from NTNU.
