Wang Yu

Lecturer

Wang Yu is a senior researcher at the Department of Architecture and Planning, NTNU Norwegian University of Science and Technology, since November 2018, and an acting program lead for Urban Ecological Planning as well as head of research at the same department since August 2021. Wang completed a PhD in Risk Management of Cultural Heritage at NTNU from 2009 to 2015, focusing on post-disaster reconstruction of cultural heritage settlements, specifically through a case study of Taoping Qiang Village in Sichuan, China. Additionally, Wang has served as a lecturer at NTNU starting in August 2024 and holds a Master's degree in Cultural Heritage Conservation from Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, obtained between 2004 and 2007.
