Tyler Johnson has a strong work experience in various engineering roles. In their most recent position as Manager of Solutions Engineering at nTop, they started in July 2022. Prior to this, Tyler worked at Consolidated Metco as a Lead Additive Manufacturing Engineer from August 2019 to July 2022. Before that, they were a Tooling and Fixture Engineer at PCC Structurals, Inc. from October 2017 to September 2019, and also served as a Dimensional/Process Engineer as part of the MECOP program. Tyler's career started in the United States Marine Corps where they held multiple roles as a Staff Instructor, Night Systems Instructor, Weapons and Tactics Instructor, Aircrew Training Coordinator, Plane Captain Program Manager, and CH-53E Helicopter Crew Chief.
Tyler Johnson obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from Portland State University, where they studied from 2014 to 2019. In addition, Tyler has also completed a certification in Airframe and Powerplant from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in February 2014.
