C B Poddar

C B Poddar has extensive experience in land acquisition and rehabilitation and resettlement (R&R) issues, currently serving as AGM (R&R) at NTPC Limited, where they have been since 2000. They have played a key role in initiating land acquisition activities for Greenfield and Brownfield projects, conducting socio-economic surveys, and finalizing R&R plans that prioritize community participation. Prior to this, C B worked in operations and maintenance engineering at several power projects, including NHPC and BSEB, and holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from BIT Sindri, Ranchi University. C B also distinguished themselves academically in their intermediate studies at Science College, Patna University.
