Dhirendra Sonagara

Dhirendra Sonagara is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the mining and energy sectors, currently serving as Dy. General Manager at NTPC Limited since September 2006, overseeing production and operations in a highly equipped open cast mine with a workforce of over 3000 employees. Previously, Dhirendra held the position of Dy. Manager, focusing on land payment, initial community work, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and liaising with local government officials. Additionally, Dhirendra worked as Manager for CSR and Land Acquisition at NTPC's Raigarh location from March 2014 to July 2022. Dhirendra holds a P.G. Diploma in Human Resource Management from Jai Narain Vyas University and a Bachelor's degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from MBM Engineering College, along with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering and other relevant qualifications.
