Kumar Swadhin currently serves as the Assistant General Manager (AGM) at NTPC, working on the Tapovan Vishnugad Hydro Power Project since 2020. Previously, they held the position of Deputy General Manager (DGM) at NTPC Limited from 2009 to 2016, where they focused on implementing CFD-based projects in coal-based thermal power plants and also operated 210 MW thermal units. Kumar earned an M.Tech in Power Generation Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (2007-2009) and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. They completed their intermediate studies in Science at Patna Science College from 1987 to 1989.
