Vikash Kumar

Vikash Kumar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability and energy management. Currently serving as a Manager at NTPC Limited since March 2018, Vikash leads ESG and Sustainability Reporting for 13 group companies and 77 Business Units, managing communications on ESG and carbon strategies with various stakeholders. Previous roles include EA to CMD at NTPC, focusing on the development of sustainability strategies, and Project Intern at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, where research and financial modeling were conducted for resource efficiency projects. Vikash also has experience from internships at WIPRO Earthian and Damodar Valley Corporation, showcasing a strong background in financial analysis and technical assessments. Educational qualifications include a PGP in Sustainable Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad.
