Michael Long boasts over two decades of extensive experience in network operations and engineering, primarily within the ISP industry. Currently serving as the Manager of Network Operations for the Global IP Network at NTT Ltd. since 2001, Michael has developed a robust expertise in leveraging Cisco and Juniper routers and managing critical routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, and IPv6. Michael's responsibilities encompass running the global backbone for NTT America, overseeing network performance projects, and providing high-level support for network issues. Prior roles include significant contributions in IP development and engineering across multiple organizations, showcasing a strong track record of enhancing network stability, performance, and operational efficiency. Michael's education includes studies at California State University-Sacramento.
