Anil Patel

Anil Patel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in payments, technology, and operational management across various financial institutions and consultancy roles. Currently serving as a Senior Industry Advisor for Merchant Payments at NTT DATA, Anil leads modernization efforts for payment platforms and digital strategies, managing complex cross-functional teams and enhancing digital payment delivery. Prior to NTT DATA, Anil held significant positions at Citizens, Capital One, and JP Morgan Chase, focusing on data analytics, product development, and platform modernization. Anil's earlier career includes founding Unity Insurance Brokers in Fiji and directing operational support at the National Bank of Vanuatu, along with a foundational role at the Reserve Bank of Fiji, establishing corporate IT strategies. Anil holds an MBA in International Business and Finance from Griffith University and a Bachelor's degree in Computing Science and Software Engineering from the University of Wollongong.
