Paolo Lucente

Paolo Lucente is a seasoned professional in network tools development and engineering, currently serving as Principal Network Tools Developer at NTT Ltd. since December 2016, after advancing from the role of Senior Network Tools Developer. In addition, Paolo is the Founder and Board Member of ITNOG (Italian Network Operators Group), active since October 2017. As an author for pmacct since April 2003, substantial contributions have been made to the field. Previous experience includes leadership positions at Cisco, where Paolo worked as a Technical Leader and Senior Network Consultant following Cisco's acquisition of Cariden Technologies. Additional roles include Network Architect at KPN International, Senior Network Developer at Tiscali Netherlands, and Senior Network Engineer at Digiweb, alongside earlier positions in network and systems engineering. Education was completed at Università degli Studi di Bari.
