Barry Shurkey

Barry Shurkey is the Executive, Head of IT North America & Global Application Transformation Services at NTT DATA Inc. They previously held leadership roles as Global Vice President at Travelport and Chief Information Officer at Vertex Ltd, where they were responsible for all ITO and applications functions in North America. Barry has also served as a Senior Vice President at NTT DATA Services, leading the Transition Services Agreement for the Dell Services acquisition. In addition to their professional accomplishments, Barry is an Advisory Board Member of the DFW Alliance of Technology and Women, advocating for increased female representation in technology. Barry earned a BS in Management Information Systems from Central Michigan University and has participated in executive programs at Thunderbird School of Global Management and the London School of Business and Management.
