Michael Long

Michael Long has extensive experience in the ISP industry, having served in various roles at NTT Ltd. since 2001, currently as Manager of Network Operations for the Global IP Network. Michael has a strong background as a Senior IP Engineer, overseeing the global backbone for NTT America AS2914 and managing network projects to enhance performance and stability. Expertise includes routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS, as well as responsibilities for vendor relations and traffic engineering across multiple continents. Michael’s earlier roles included IP Development Engineer at FusionStorm and Network Engineer at Wavve, where contributions included building out colocation facilities and developing network monitoring solutions. Michael holds a degree from California State University-Sacramento.
