Merijn Westerhoff

Merijn Westerhoff is a freelance journalist currently contributing to Follow the Money since September 2023. Previously, Merijn held the position of Interactie redacteur at NU.nl starting January 2024 and worked as a Werkstudent at Society College from May 2023 to January 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Medewerker at Café Hooghoudt from November 2019 to August 2023 and as Barman/-vrouw at De Bolder, Vlieland, from May 2016 to April 2020. Merijn is pursuing a Master's degree in Journalism at the University of Groningen, with studies planned from September 2024 to February 2025, following a Bachelor’s degree from the same institution completed in 2023, and earlier education at Hanze from 2018 to 2019.
