Thomas Moerman

Thomas Moerman is an experienced journalist currently serving as Chef verslaggeverij and Redactiechef economie, tech en klimaat at NU.nl since June 2018, where also coordinates the economieredactie. Previously, Thomas held positions as Eindredacteur FD Focus at Het Financieele Dagblad, Reporter at Business Insider Nederland, and Techredacteur at NU.nl. Thomas began freelance journalism with Thomas Moerman Media and has also worked in various editorial roles at NU.nl and NRC Handelsblad, along with internships at AD Rotterdams Dagblad. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Political Communication from the University of Amsterdam, a Master of Arts in Globalisation, Media and Journalism from Aarhus University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, complemented by studies at Danmarks Journalisthøjskole and Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam.
