John Gustafson currently serves as the Director of Product Development at NUAIR, where responsibilities include identifying and implementing technology to enhance airspace access within the National Airspace System (NAS). Previous roles include Director of Corridor Operations and Data Management Coordinator at Reign Maker, as well as Director of Operations and Lead Specialist in Engineering/Flight Test at GE Aviation. At GE Aviation-AiRXOS, John co-developed and tested UTM software for advanced UAS applications. Additional experience includes managing an sUAS program at Thew Associates, consulting as Chief Pilot at Dropcopter, and instructing for SkyOp LLC. Prior positions encompass Chief UAV Pilot at UP High Aerial Imaging and Owner of JCG Property Management. John has also worked as a contract flight instructor and pilot. Educational credentials include various aviation certifications and a degree from the University at Albany.
