Hellen Lima

Hellen Lima is a Lead Data Scientist at Nubank since April 2022, focusing on the cross-sell business area and leading efforts to optimize promotional communications through machine learning models. Prior to this role, Hellen worked as a Data Scientist at JGP, where the implementation of a COVID-19 prediction model was a key responsibility. Earlier experience includes positions at Data Science Brigade, where diverse algorithms for applications such as data-driven marketing were developed, and Stone Pagamentos, where solutions for fraud detection using AI were provided. Hellen's foundational work includes internships at CEPEL and CERN, and a research role at the Laboratório de Processamento de Sinais - UFRJ, contributing to innovative projects involving artificial intelligence and particle detection systems. Hellen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, along with additional studies at Queen Mary University of London.
