Matheus Facure is a Staff Data Scientist at Nubank, where they have been contributing since 2021. They previously held roles as a Data Scientist and Data Science Manager at Nubank from 2017 to 2019 and also worked as an MBA Professor at FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração from 2019 to 2021, teaching machine learning and Python. Matheus is the author of "Causal Inference in Python" and "Causal Inference for The Brave and True," and they are passionate about making causal inference mainstream. They earned a degree in Economics from Universidade de Brasília, where they studied machine learning, data analysis, game theory, and behavioral economics.
