Nuchem Limited is a chemical engineering company. The Company is engaged in the business of medium density fiberboard (MDF) panel boards, thermoset resins and moulding powders, treatment plants / projects and environment management services. It operates in three segments: Chemical, Medium Density Fiberboard and EMC Projects and Services. Its principal products include formaldehyde, MDF and urea formaldehyde moulding powder. The Chemical division manufactures urea and melamine formaldehyde moulding powders. It also manufactures urea formaldehyde resins and formaldehyde. The EMC Projects and Services provides analytical and treatment solutions to the environmental problems. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2010 (fiscal 2010), the Company produced 2,051 million tons of UF/melamine-formaldehyde (MF) powder, 3,830 million tons of prescol liquid, 3,392 million tons of formaldehyde, 25 million tons of brooksite, 20,384 million tons of nuwud MDF board.
