Peter Chang

Peter Chang has over 20 years of work experience in the field of bioinformatics. Peter began their career in 2000 as a Research Assistant at Quallion. In 2001, they worked as a Bioinformatics Scientist at Zuyder Research Corporation, followed by a role as a Bioinformatics Engineer at Celera Genomics. Peter then moved to Ionian Technologies, Inc. as a Bioinformatics Scientist. In 2005, they began working at the University of Southern California as a Visiting Scholar, Staff Scientist, Postdoctoral Research Associate, and Research Associate. In 2013, they joined UC Davis as a Project Scientist. In 2019, they were appointed Senior Bioinformatics Scientist II at Universal Sequencing Technology. Currently, they are the Chief Technology Officer at NuCicer.

Peter Chang obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mathematics from the University of Southern California and a Master's degree in Biotechnology from the Keck Graduate Institute.
