Ester Abels

Esther Abels is the CEO and founder of SolarisRTC, a position held since March 2023, while also serving as an independent consultant specializing in regulatory, clinical, and quality aspects of Pharma and in vitro diagnostics. With a career spanning over a decade in various leadership roles within the Digital Pathology Association, including Past President and currently serving as a Board Member, Esther has driven significant developments in regulatory standards and practices. Previous experience includes key positions at Visiopharm and PathAI, focusing on regulatory, clinical, and market access strategies aimed at enhancing product development and innovation in personalized medicine. Esther holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Health Science from Radboud University, completed in 1998.
