Chris Eldred is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of engineering and environmental consultancy. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Nuclear Waste Services since December 2020, Chris previously held the position of Senior Director at Jacobs from 2001 until retirement in November 2020, where responsibilities included executive oversight of Operations in Water and Environment. Prior to that, Chris was the Director at LawGibb from 1995 to May 2001 and Technical Director at Sir Alexander Gibb & Partners from 1978 to 1995. Chris holds a BSc in Engineering Geology from Newcastle University, completed between 1976 and 1978, and has an educational background from Arnold High School, where studies took place from 1967 to 1976.
