Dr. Schofield is a principal survey geologist with 27 years of experience managing geological survey programs and conducting research in various geological settings, both in the UK and internationally. They currently serve as Chief Geologist at Nuclear Waste Services since 2024, having previously held the position of Director of National & International Geoscience at the British Geological Survey from 1997 to 2024. Dr. Schofield earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Oxford Polytechnic and a PhD in Geology from Keele University.
