David Kulp is a fourth-year M.D. Candidate at Emory University School of Medicine, focusing on pediatric informatics, health equity, AI/ML technology, and entrepreneurship with plans to pursue residency in pediatrics. Currently, David conducts research on AI/ML for pediatric cardiovascular deterioration at the Georgia Tech Pediatric Technology Center and for adult cardiovascular disease at the Emory Heart Center. David earned an M.Sc. in Digital Health with Distinction from the University of St Andrews in 2022, emphasizing the ethical implications of AI/ML in healthcare. Previously, David interned in the neonatal ICU at Boston Children’s Hospital and worked in AI/ML regulatory policy at the FDA. In addition to being the Director of Clinical Relations at Nucleate Atlanta, David is a VC Intern at Biolocity, supporting early-stage biotech ventures.
