Jason Eigenbrood is a PhD candidate in Medical Science at the University of Cambridge, where their research focuses on developing novel therapies for the rare pediatric brain tumor supratentorial ependymoma. They have previously completed a Master of Science in Applied Genomics with distinction at Imperial College London and conducted a master's thesis on splicing kinase inhibition in Ewing’s Sarcoma at the University of Oxford. In addition to their academic pursuits, Jason tutors high school students in advanced math and science and holds leadership roles at Nucleate UK. Their research experience includes a predoc fellowship at the National Cancer Institute, where they published a first-author paper characterizing the metastatic osteosarcoma microenvironment.
