Julia Breed

Julia Breed is a PhD candidate at Imperial College London, where they research the next generation of viral vectors for in-vivo delivery at Beam Therapeutics. Currently a doctoral researcher funded by the Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions, they also serve in a leadership role at Nucleate UK. Julia has previously held positions as a Senior Research Associate in Experimental Virology at Beam Therapeutics and as a co-op at bluebird bio and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. They hold a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Northeastern University, as well as a high school diploma from Burr and Burton Academy.
