Research Scientist at Nucleix

Jay Chitale has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Jay began their career as an Intern at Certified Genetool Inc. in 2013. In 2014, they became a Lifeguard at East Bay Regional Park District. In 2017, they took on the role of Researcher at Halpain Laboratory. In 2019, they moved to Verogen, where they were a Technical Application Scientist, providing global support for the implementation, use, and maintenance of the Verogen NGS Forensic and Human Identification assays and sequencing instruments, creating training material and supplementary videos to provide remote training to global channel partners during the COVID 19 pandemic, and working in tandem with other internal teams to help deliver new products and services to customers. In 2022, they began working as a Research Scientist at Nucleix Ltd.

Jay Chitale received their Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from UC San Diego in 2018. Jay then went on to obtain their Master of Science in Biology, General from UC San Diego in 2019. Prior to that, they attended Foothill High School from 2010 to 2014.
