John Stillwagen

John Stillwagen has over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology field. John began their career in 1998 as a Help Desk Support at UC San Diego. John then moved to the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center in 1999 as a Technical Support Technician. In 2000, they joined the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology as a Database Administrator/ Web Developer and Technical Support Specialist. In 2006, they were promoted to Senior Manager, Information Technology at the same institute. In 2022, they were appointed as the Executive Director Information Technology at Nucleix Ltd. As the MIS Director for the Institute, they managed and implemented several large, Institution wide projects, including the creation of the Laboratory Innovation Initiative.

John Stillwagen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from UC San Diego between 1998 and 2008. John then attended Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 2014 to 2017, graduating with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General. Prior to that, they attended Grossmont High from 1993 to 1997. Additionally, John obtained a Master of Business Administration certification from the Kelley School of Business Indianapolis in February 2017, a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance in June 2014, and an Advanced Open-Water SCUBA Certification from PADI in March 2011.
