Laura Gloss has worked in the clinical laboratory sciences field since 2011. Laura began their career as a Molecular Lab Technician at MO BIO Laboratories in 2011. In 2015, they joined Genoptix, Inc. as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist Trainee, and was promoted to Clinical Laboratory Scientist MB(ASCP)CM, CGMBS and Clinical Laboratory Technician II. In 2019, they moved to Ambry Genetics as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, NGS-. In 2022, they joined Nucleix Ltd. as a Senior Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
Laura Gloss obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biotechnology from California State University San Marcos between 2007 and 2010. In 2019, they obtained a Clinical Laboratory Genetic Molecular Biologist certification from the California Department of Public Health. In 2020, they obtained an ASCP-MB certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) certifications from Ambry Genetics.
