Sonia George

Sonia George, Ph.D., possesses extensive experience in research, project management, and medical science liaison roles across prominent institutions. At CSL Limited, Sonia began a career focused on flu vaccine production. Subsequent positions at Van Andel Institute involved leading a consortium of research groups, writing scientific documents, and presenting at conferences, with a focus on immunology and neurology. Sonia's postdoctoral research at the University of Melbourne and Lund University contributed significantly to studies on Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases. More recent roles as a Medical Science Liaison at NxGen MDx and GeneType involved educating healthcare professionals, developing training materials, and generating scientific content, particularly in infectious diseases and oncology. Currently serving as Clinical Development Manager at Nucleus Network, Sonia holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor's degree with First Grade Honours in Neuroscience from Monash University.
