Steve Carter is currently the CEO at Nucleus Security. Prior to this, they were a Senior Security Software Engineer at Rampant Technologies, LTC Engineering, and Raytheon. Steve also has experience as a UNIX System Administrator from their time at COAPS. Steve has always been interested in technology and started their career as a software engineer before eventually moving into security engineering and information assurance. Steve has a wealth of experience in software development and management and is well-respected in the industry. Steve is a strong leader and motivator, and under their guidance, Nucleus Security has become one of the most innovative and successful security companies in the world.

Steve Carter has a Master's in Computer Science from Florida State University, and a Bachelor's in Computer Science from the same school. Steve also has certification from Lunarline, Inc as a Certified Expert Independent Assessor (CEIA), and from EC-Council as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). Additionally, they are certified by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) as a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), and by ISC2 as an Information System Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP).
