Ferran Llamas

Ferran Llamas has been a Software Engineer since 2022, working for both Nuclia and Canonical. Prior to that, they were a Backend Software Engineer and Python Developer at Onna from 2017-2022. In their role as a Backend Software Engineer, their main duties and responsibilities were related to maintaining, improving, and scaling a micro-service architecture, using technologies such as Guillotina, Open-API, JSON Schema Validation, Aiohttp, and FastAPI. As a Python Developer, they were responsible for maintaining, improving, and developing framework integrations for several major cloud services, as well as creating and maintaining asynchronous python clients for all those services. The technologies they used included Python 3.x with asyncio and aiohttp (server/client), Git, Jenkins, Docker, and REST services with the Guillotina Python data framework.

Ferran Llamas obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2014. Ferran then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Computers and Networks at ETH Zürich, which they completed in 2016. Ferran also holds an English C1 level certification from IELTS BRITISHCOUNCIL.
