Jason Smiley

Jason Smiley has extensive experience in metallurgy and leadership within the steel industry. Currently serving as HM/CM Metallurgical Supervisor and Chief Metallurgist at Nucor Corporation since June 2021, Jason previously held the position of Metallurgical Technical Service Supervisor at Nucor-JFE Steel Mexico from October 2017 to June 2021. Jason's career at Nucor Corporation began in June 2008, where Jason worked as a Coated Products Metallurgist until June 2017. Jason holds a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Charleston Southern University and a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
