Valentin Cristea

Valentin Cristea has extensive experience in the IT industry, with a specialization in System Center and automation. Valentin started their career as an IT Consultant in 2010, working as a self-employed individual. During this time, they also served as a Team Lead and Tech Content Manager for Microsoft Student Partners ASE.

In 2010, Valentin joined PayU (GECAD ePayment) as a Senior Systems Engineer. Valentin played a crucial role in architecting and implementing the company's infrastructure, as well as completing various migration projects. Their responsibilities included Active Directory and Exchange migrations, implementing procedures for PCI DSS audit and certification, and deploying zero-touch OS and software distribution solutions.

Valentin continued to expand their knowledge and skills by working as a Systems Engineer at E-CAESAR, a research institute focused on e-Government platforms. Valentin was responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the required infrastructure for MS-stack related projects.

Valentin then joined Glasshouse Technologies AG in 2013 as a System Center Engineer. In this role, they specialized in System Center Service Manager and System Center Orchestrator. Valentin was part of the technical team that developed and built a System Center appliance.

Valentin's most recent position was with nudgeIT, where they started as a Product Manager in 2014. Valentin was responsible for transforming business processes with automation, A.I., and intelligent UX. Valentin later became the Chief Strategy Officer for the company.

Throughout their career, Valentin has gained expertise in various technologies such as SCCM, SCOM, Hyper-V, Exchange, BizTalk, TFS, SharePoint, SQL Server, and more. Valentin has a strong track record of successfully implementing and managing complex IT projects.

Valentin Cristea received their Bachelor's degree in Economic Cybernetics and Informatics from the Academia de Studii Economice din București between 2006 and 2009. Valentin then pursued a Master's degree in Informatics Security at the same institution from 2009 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Valentin has obtained numerous certifications. Valentin achieved the Microsoft Certified Professional - 270 Windows XP, Configuring in April 2009. Valentin also holds certifications such as Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist - 640 Active Directory (November 2009), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist - 642 Network Infrastructure (April 2010), Microsoft Certified IT Professional - 646 Server Administrator (August 2010), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist - 680 Windows 7, Configuring (October 2010), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist - 643 Applications Infrastructure (July 2011), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist - 669 Desktop Virtualization (December 2011), and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist - 659 Server Virtualization (December 2011).

In 2011, Valentin also achieved the Microsoft Certified IT Professional - 647 Enterprise Administrator. Valentin further obtained the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org in October 2012 and the VMware Certified Professional on vSphere 5 certification from VMware in June 2012. Additionally, Valentin received the Microsoft Certified Solution Expert - Private Cloud certification from Microsoft in October 2012. Valentin also completed the Intermediate R certification from DataCamp in August 2015.
