Max van Eijk is currently serving as the Co-Founder of NudgeLabs, since May 2022. Previously, they worked as the CEO of Avonova Group, leading Scandinavia's largest corporate health provider from February 2020 to January 2022. During their tenure, Avonova's EBITDA margin doubled despite the challenging business environment. Prior to that, Max held the position of Chief Operating Officer at GHP Specialty Care AB from November 2019 to February 2020 and served as the Business Area Manager for the Stockholm Region from August 2015 to October 2019. Within GHP, they effectively managed 12 specialized surgery and medical clinics, overseeing a P&L of €50m and 300 employees. Max also worked as the Business Area Manager for International Expansion at HN from May 2014 to July 2015. Before that, they were a Business Area Manager at Capio Sverige, where they successfully turned around declining results and achieved impressive sales growth and profit increase in 2012 and 2013. Max began their career in 2003 as a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group and later became an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company from 2006 to 2012.
Max van Eijk completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Macroeconomics and Public Policy from Macalester College. Max graduated magna cum laude in the year 2001. In addition, they studied Japanese and Economics at the Stanford Japan Center from 1999 to 2000. Prior to that, Max attended the Red Cross Nordic United World College from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate degree.
