Carina K. has over 8 years of work experience in marketing, communications, and sales. Carina started their career in 2012 as a Lead Sales Associate at Kenneth Cole Productions, where they were awarded the West Coast All Star for top performing Sales Associate of California. In 2013, they worked as a Sales Associate at Dillard's Inc. where they managed the department floor and collected customer data for Dillards membership. From 2014-2015, Carina worked at the UCSB Transfer Student Center as an Internal Marketing and Communications Coordinator, where they partnered with financial board members to create a budget plan, designed banners, table runners, flyers, and various graphics using Adobe Photoshop, and fully managed social media accounts. In 2016, they worked as a Creative Marketing Coordinator at Flower Pavillion, where they coordinated photography to be featured on the shop's Instagram and Facebook, managed social media accounts, and created hashtag promotions to raise engagement for publicity. From 2017-2018, they worked at Spiralyze as a Digital Marketing Coordinator, where they developed, managed, and directed international sales team to deliver unique quality campaigns through e-mail, increased e-mail response rates by 200%, and created, distributed, and implemented quarterly marketing strategies to improve business. During this same time period, Carina also provided freelance marketing and creative services as a Digital Artist. In 2021, they worked at Face Reality Skincare as an Email & CRM Manager. Finally, they are currently employed at NuFACE as a CRM Program Manager.

Carina K. obtained their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara between 2014 and 2016.
