Jan Boshoff

Jan Boshoff has a comprehensive work experience in the field of technology development and engineering. Jan co-founded and served as the CEO of Nu:ionic Technologies since 2016. Prior to that, they worked at Sasol for a significant portion of their career. At Sasol, Jan held various roles, including Manager of the Tulsa GTL Pilot Plant, where they successfully motivated the acquisition of the facility and led its technical development program. Jan also served as the Lead Engineer for Tulsa Operations, overseeing a satellite GTL test facility, and as the Line Manager for Coal-to-Liquids Process Development, managing low temperature Fischer-Tropsch technology programs. Earlier in their career, Jan worked as a Senior Process Development Engineer, specializing in filtration development and providing technical support for feasibility studies. Jan began their career at Sasol as an Engineer in Training, conducting hydrodynamic measurements and testing capital expenditure estimation techniques.

Jan Boshoff's education history begins in 1994, when they attended North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit. Jan studied Chemical Engineering, and their program lasted until 1997, when they completed their B.Eng degree. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Delaware from 1998 to 2003. During this time, they completed a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.
