Chieh Chen

Chieh (Jay) Chen is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering. As the founder of Taption since April 2020, Chieh has also held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Nuix since June 2016, focusing on the front and middle tier development for the Ringtail e-discovery software. Previous roles include Senior Software Developer at Affirma Consulting, where significant front and back-end development was undertaken across multiple MVC projects, and software development consultancy positions at Microsoft and Translational Software. Chieh's experience further encompasses a military service as a Corporal in Taiwan's Mandatory Military Service and involvement in personal app development for Windows Phone 8. Educationally, Chieh holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, completed in 2010.
